BenQ W6000 Projector Released in Japan

BenQ is proud to announce today, that their newest theater projector, the W6000 is now available in Japan. This projector features 2500 ANSI lumens, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and an impressive 50000:1 contrast ratio. The high brightness allows the projector to be used in normal room lighting. BenQ has included a wide array of connection, including dual RGB ports, dual HDMI ports, a component, s-video, and a composite connection. There is also a 12V trigger port to connect motorized screens, curtains, or automatic lighting. The projector is reasonably quiet and has a 29 dB noise level in Eco mode. The official release will be July 9th. The W6000 will retail in Japan for 298000 yen ($3396), but it is already available in the USA for only $2799. [via BenQ ]
