Home Theater Build in Storage Area

Unfortunately, when installing a home theater, not everything goes according to plan. The home owners of this theater found that out as they were trying to pick the ideal spot for their theater. Their original plan was to use the guest bedroom that was almost never used. After hiring Audio Video Interiors to help with the renovations, the company told the owners that the room was not big enough for what the owners wanted. Fortunately though, the owners had a fairly large storage space available that the contractors thought would work better. The storage space had its own problems like low hanging beams, utility meters, and air conditioning ducts. The projector that was selected for this project was the Runco RS-1100 projector, which features 1250 ANSI lumens, a 3100:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. In order to mount the projector, the designers had to lower the projector far lower than they liked. The projector was 18 inches from the ceiling and left little room for error. But now the projector can successfully project on to the 9 foot wide screen. Some of the theater’s features include seating for 10, a lobby/snack area, and a seven speaker, two subwoofer surround sound system. [via Electronic House ]
