Home Theater is Three Rooms in One

If you had your choice between a pool room, a home theater, and a music studio, which one would you choose? What if I said you could have all three? That is what this home owner did as his basement and turned it into three rooms that can become one. The first section is the bar/pool room that features a wonderful view of a pond and a bar that looks into the second room. The second section is a two row theater that features in wall speakers a 120 inch screen and a JVC DLA-RS2 projector. The projector is able to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 600 ANSI lumens, and a very impressive 30000:1 contrast ratio. The screen has a drop down speaker system behind it that can be raised along with the screen to show the third and final section. This last section is the music studio where the owner’s children can practice as well as perform as the screen area is also a stage. All three sections are controlled by a universal remote system and can change with just a touch of the button. Another cool feature is that this theater can also be controlled by the owner’s iPhone instead of the remote. [via Electronic House ]
