Lumis Devices is the developer and manufacturer of the award-winning PhlatLight LED, which is used in many current pico . Today, the company announced that their latest LED will be used in the not even announced yet, LG HS-200G pico projector. This projector is the successor of the popular HS-102 model and will use Lumis’s LED technology. The only additional information available at this time about the HS-200G is that it will able to fit comfortably in the user’s hand and will weigh less than 2 lbs. The LEDs used in the projector will be able to last for up to 70000 hours, which is the estimated lifetime of the projector itself, which means there is no worry of ever replacing the lamp. “The HS-200G is one of several new ultra-mobile from LG that provide industry-leading performance and value enabled by Luminus PhlatLight LEDs. In the projector market traditional lamp technologies are rapidly being replaced with environmentally-friendly, more powerful LED light sources,” said Stephane Bellosguardo, Director of Product Marketing, Projection Display Business, Luminus Devices. “LG’s investment in PhlatLight LEDs not only delivers outstanding brightness levels, but also dramatically improves performance throughout the lifetime of the projector.” More information about the LG HS-200G projector will be announced as it becomes available.
