Peerless Mounts Releases New Universal Short Throw Projector Mounts

Peerless Industries is one of the major leaders in professional-grade audio/visual mounting solutions. Today, the company has released their latest line of universal short throw projector mounts. “The worldwide market for short throw and ultra-short throw projectors will grow to 844,000 units by 2012, up from 80,000 units in 2007, according to forecasts from market-research firm Pacific Media Associates,” said Brandon Eble, product manager, Peerless Industries, Inc. “With the immense growth within the short throw product category, we are delivering the most versatile, easy to install line of mounting solutions to support the use of these projectors in any environment.” The new line allows projectors to be mounted to near flush with the wall to over 4 ½ feet away from the wall. They also feature an enhanced post installation feature that allows for quick and simple projector alignment. Peerless has released two models in the new line, the PSTK-028 and the PSTK-2949; both are currently available in black or white through the Peerless website. The retail prices for these projectors are $290 for the PSTK-028 and $340 for the PSTK-2949. [via Business Wire ]
