Samsung Uses Multi-Touch Holograms to Promote the Jet

Its features are state-of-the-art and feature some amazing graphic interfaces. To promote the Jet, Samsung has decided to use a new approach and use a Multi-Touch Hologram during their stage presentations. The company is claiming that this technology used to promote the phone is the first ever, but last year, Visionaire released the actual first ever multi-touch hologram. The multi-touch hologram is designed for stage performances and allows a user to interact with 3D virtual objects that appear to float in mid air. Because of the size of the system, the user uses their entire fist to manipulate the image instead of using only finger placements like more manageable touch screen displays. Between the two displays, Samsungs is definitely flashier and does a great job promoting the Jet, but Visionaire will always be the first developers of the technology. [via Fast Company ]
