Sanko Releases MINIJEC1 Projector

Sanko is known for creating some of the coolest and weirdest gadgets in Japan. Recently, the company announced the release of their latest pico projector, the MINIJEC1 . This projector is about the size of a box of cigarettes and weighs a little more than a quarter of a pound. The projector displays 10 ANSI lumens, a 200:1 contrast ratio, and a native VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The only connection port for this projector is a mini AV jack that comes with a composite adapter cable that allows you to connect media devices like DVD players, cameras, and gaming consoles. Unfortunately, this projector does not have an internal battery so you have to carry the power adapter with you. Also to add to the equipment list is a mini tripod, although the company does announce that the projector can attach to any standard camera tripod. In addition this model is capable of displaying up to a 200 inch display, but with the specs given, it’s hard to tell if an image that size would be clear or not. Unfortunately there is no price listed for the MINIJEC1 yet. [via Akihabara news ]
