Today, Sharper Image announced that they will be releasing soon their first pocket projector, the EC-PJ10 . Not available until November 12th, the EC-PJ10 will be one of the cheapest available retailing for only $129. But what makes this projector so affordable? Unfortunately, the company has not released any information about the projector’s resolution, brightness, contrast, or anything else important. What they did announce was that it is able to display up to a 72” image from a distance of only 6 feet. They also recommend that you use the projector in fairly dark lit rooms. The lamp system uses a standard 60W/12V MR-16 halogen bulb, which is commonly found in ceiling lamps and desk lamps. The connection panel includes the standard composite A/V connections as well as a headphone jack for when you don’t want to disturb those around you or if you want to connect an external audio device.
